Introduction to Help For My Life

Life is hard and often hurts. Faith is complex and often confusing. Whether acknowledged or not, everyone struggles. As a part of the RBC Ministries family, our commitment is “to make the life-changing wisdom of the Bible understandable and accessible to all.” HelpForMyLife.org is about helping people honestly grapple with the struggles of life we all encounter.

Fear, anger, discouragement, and doubt can be rooted in a tangle of factors including physical health, past and present circumstances, and the choices we have made. While we can’t sit down and sort through the various factors in each person’s life, HelpForMyLife.org exists to help people face tough issues and offers biblical insight and wisdom one would expect to hear from a competent pastor, a skilled counselor, or a trusted friend (Proverbs 15:22).

Our goal is to offer compassion, understanding, and hope to real people with real struggles and to help them find real wisdom and a vision for a fulfilling life that is pleasing to God (2 Corinthians 5:9).

Abuse is ripping apart the humanity of our society one life at a time. Where do you turn for help you can trust when the baggage of past or current abuse won’t stay in the closet any more? Breaking the silence of abuse is the first place to start.

We are an addictive society. We are more driven, compulsive, demanding, entitled, and independently self-absorbed than ever before. And the cost is relational isolation and self-destruction. We want out, but we can’t let go because we’re afraid.

Join our roundtable discussion on the broad spectrum of challenges involved in care giving and the emotional ramifications you can experience as you walk a caregiving journey day after day.

Loneliness comes in many forms and can’t be ignored over the holidays. Learn how to face your loneliness productively and enjoy more of the holiday season.

Emotional problems are one of the primary reasons that many people seek help from a counselor. When we don’t feel good, we want to feel better. But invariably our feelings are tied to something deeper that needs to be explored.

What do you believe? Why do you believe it? How do you know it’s true? Whether you’re investigating faith for the first time, or taking a second look at what you’ve been taught from childhood, faith is a journey that needs to be explored.
